Is there a program I can install for windows that does the same thing as that Mac F9 thing where it shows all the open windows on the screen and I can click on them so get to that window? I would love one of those

The problem is that Macs run a different GFX rendering engine, so they can smoothly render the Expose, on Windows, it's all a clusterfucked mess so it doesn't work as well and lags, so I've been told, the program everyone seems to recommend though is DExposee2

Well to update I tried the program and It actually works very nicely. It isn't the mac Expose at all but its very responsive and although after repeated mashing of F9 causing it to crash it is still a good program and I plan on using it alot

I personally just use Rocket Dock. It doesn't give you the Expose, but you CAN minimize windows to the dock and it looks pretty slick. Pretty good program if you want to emulate a Mac OSX feature in Windows.

What I never understood was why people used Rocket Dock...There's a taskbar for a reason.

I use it so my desktop stays clean and pretty, All my MOST used stuff(Firefox, iTunes) is in the Quicklaunch, my sometimes used(BF2, TF2, Photoshop, Dreamweaver) goes in the dock, and everything else is Launchy'd.

And I keep no other shortcuts on my desktop(Well try to, when I'm working on some big project in photoshop that involves alot of images, I tend to use the desktop as a dumpspace, but it gets cleaned up soon after.)

Edit: Just reread your comment, I have my Dock set up like 1/3 of the way up the page, so it's only used for launching stuff, not navigating.

P.S. Although I speak in present tense, I mean past tense, that's how I sued to do it, but I've reformatted twice since then and haven't gotten all my little tweaks and settings in place yet(The dock being one of em.)

I hate the taskbar. I typically have quite a few windows open and the dock looks better, too. Keeps everything hidden and when at the desktop, there are no icons on the desktop (except perhaps recently used files). It's all about keeping clean and hidden.

I can't wait for the day of HD monitors with touchscreens on them ... figure in an OS like Win7 that supports multitouch gestures on the screen and stuff like that will never be needed again. You won't need the mouse unless you need to game.
