Having read the majority of posts regarding the M95, has anyone considered that rather than making the M95 a one-shot kill, regardless of hit location, how about giving the bullet knock down power...
Take this situation for example..
Line up a shot, it hits, but doesnt kill. Now, rather than the target running off like nothing has happened is actually knocked down to the prone position, unable to move for say.. 2secs, and also stunned - similar to the flash bang effect. This gives you time to actually take a follow up shot, yet if you are too slow, then the target gets away.
This takes into account the power of a .50cal AM bullet, but I dont feel it unbalances the rifle/gameplay at all. Means that two snipers operating together (similar to a spotter/shooter pairing) could be very effective.
What are peoples thoughts???
