  Being able to get points as a commander for blowing up artillery and UAV and scan . This is more of a question though . I notice if I'm a lonewolf or a squad leader and I blow up any assets as a special forces I get text saying " you got point for "destroying a stratigitc object" . But I don't see this when I am a commander and don't seem to rack up much of a score even when I take out the enemy assest like 10 times through out the whole game .

AC-130 for air assaults and air bourne operation

Being able to drop air assault " drop lines " and slide down ropes to assault an area rather then jumping out and parachuting or just jumping out and risking health damage .

Wake Island with no jets lol

A quad 50. caliber machinegun position for air defense

A mortor . I love mortors . The only other games I know that have mortors are Viet Nam and ET enemy territory . Would be cool to have a mortor and have a support unit give you ammo . be able to see where your bombs fall on radar . Be able to set up and redeploy the mortor as well . perhaps make it a 2 man team effort . And being able to shoot flares  with the mortor , the ones wtih parachutes and fall slowly to the ground .

Have special forces have the ability to snag enemy uniforms like ET

See special forces have a partial guille suit

Colored smoke grenades that mean different things . Red for distress signal , purple for needing repairs , green for needing back up .

Incinidary grenades that melt vehicles and aircraft and damadge vehicles that drive over it if dropped on the ground .

Dragon anti tank unit . Dragon are cool , you have to sit down to use them . Basically like a tow missle system i think . could be laser guided I'm not sure .

Night levels with tracer rounds  ( red for USMC and green for MEC and Chineese teams )

Have a spy class that can hack the enemy UAV or scan radar by placing a " scavenger " device that takes

it would be nice to have a more powerful pistol in this game though. but if it was rl i would rather stick to the regular 9mm.

-That is all included in Special Forces:Night levels,ziplines and grappling hooks,teargas+gasmask,TOWs on Humvees,maybe you should just go and buy BF2:SF....

I want troops with stringers more than anything right now.  Like ppl said, BF2 is a rock paper scissor game.  For the most part, i think it works.  What gets me though is when the opposing team has decent to great flyers and my team can't fly or the flyers are there just to get points.  I would like the ability to shoot down the planes with out AA sites or vehicle.  Yeah AT troops sorta can against helos, i know i have, but it takes 3 or more rounds and it is pretty difficult, especially when you are the only AT defending the flag.  So in other words, I would like a class, or even modding the AT class, so that I can have a decent chance at taking down helos, and some chance of taking down jets.

Taking down jets is very hard, or atleast in my experiance, with stingers or AA's. They go too fast and are too manuverable. I don't think I've taken a jet out of the sky with AA or stingers yet, though I've taken quite a few choppers out.

Stingers are almost useless against jet's because they just fly too fast. In reality, the missle locks itself on and can follow the jet a very long time, but in this game it's just not that realistic. You can't see far enough to keep the lock on.

But I agree, we need stingers to take out choppers. I also think flares should have a much longer delay, or have maybe 2 or 3 reloads, then have to get more flares at the H-pad. Because right now, you have to wait till they launch their flares to even have a chance at taking it out, then if you miss you're done because they'll swing around and kill you.

I'd love for a Coral Sea style map. Nothing but dogfighting.

EDIT: The scalable map would include more carriers (or runways for MEC), maybe start out with three for a sixteen player version, five for thirty-two, and seven for sixty-four. But I doubt it would work for anything other than sixteen players.

That's in there..whenever you issue a command as a squad leader or a commander, a little smoke grenades continually puts of smoke at that location. Only your squad can see it.

Troops with stinger missiles aren't necessary, they have stinger missile emplacements pretty much everywhere you need them.

Squad leaders should efinately be able to commend their squad.

I'm pretty sure you still get points for doing that stuff when you're a commander, it just doesn't tell you so you don't notice it that much.

I take it an AC-130 is one of those huge military 747s that transports tanks and troops and stuff like that.  Yes that would be cool but it would need an enormous airfield.

Being able to drop down assault lines would be pretty cool too, but it would be hard to implement.

Wake Island with no jets would not be Wake Island.

After the next patch, it will be easy enough to take air-vehicles out with a ground weapon so there's no need for a .50 AA gun.

A mortar would be cool but also hard to implement.

Apperently you haven't payed attention to some of the vehicles in SF, they already have a TOW Hummer in there.

An Avenger would be cool on a hummer except it would probably be a two-person vehicle because the thing goes in the back.

Snagging enemy uniforms would be too confusing for everybody.

Yes, SF snipers have no manner of ghilli suit and they need one bad.

Colored smoke grenades would be cool but which class would carry them?

Inscendiary grenades are a bit much for Battlefield.

Don't know about the Dragon AT system so I don't know.

Colored tracers would be weird, the last you want the enemy to see is where your bullets came from.

Spy class would be barely get any weapons.

Ejector-seats in airplanes!

Now when you eject, you drop out from the floor like it would have been corroded off..
Also, now when your armor goes to 0, its game over. Sometimes plane explodes, and sometimes it continues without explosion and ends up in destruction couple seconds later. Why not give the pilot these few seconds time to eject, while the plane is still on the air? And by eject, I mean the way upwards, not downwards...

If id made a game, where you could fly with planes.. the ejector seats would be the first feature I would implement.

The same rant would go for choppers too, but these models that BF2 has, doesnt have that kind of ejection-systems.. Though I have read somewhere, that some testing and concepts was made in Cobra-helicopters. And cause there is no KA-52 ;(

Id eject all the time, if it would be possible... Now I just drop and die because of the stupid parachute.

Cool ideas, but they should add more impressive ways of killing people for the satisfaction factor, like being able to creep up behind someone, kick em in the back of the legs , and shoot em in the back of the head, or so more melee attacks, maybe a selection of garrott wire, a bigger knife, instead of claymores, use a snare trap so you can come back to em later and finish em of, or leave em dangling, or they should make the missile in the eryx with more colision detection so you can get a mate to attach some C4 first the launch it, and graplling hooks should be able to hook on to vehicels, tat would be so funny.

With all the people saying Karkand is the best infantry map I think a lot of players would enjoy nothing but a full on infantry assault and not have to worry about a tank spawn camping for once .

Not nessesary huh ? I've got about 600 hours on this game and can still count on one hand how many jets Ive shot down with the AAA . Stingers would be a big help .

quad 50's are cool . Reminds me of the guy in the movie Water World where he is firng one and his teeth are all covered in gun lube and grit from firing it .

Hard to implement ? ET Enemy trritory has one . That game is free AND is like 5 years old lol . Of course it would be easy to make and implement .

They actually tried the ropes coming off the blackhawks & others, people prefered to para out then go down a rope so they cut it out.

Tracers sound kool for the night maps...
