I played Killzone 1, thought it was meh. These videos make it look like Killzone 1 with fancy graphics and the whole weapon shake and motions look cool, but its just gonna be another, shoot 1000 badguys because I have to and blow this thing up, next mission, end game. Look at crysis, the game looks brilliant, but look how mediocre the gameplay is. Yes for now, I'm going to compare this game to crysis.
If multiplayer is good, then it can be saved...maybe.

If the multiplayer is as good as Resistance 2's then this game will be great.

You should see GameTrailers. It's fucking ridiculous. The community there is -gasp- worse than you when it comes to this game. They make it out like it's going to God's gift to Earth. It's kind of funny. I'm sure it'll be a good game (and I'm still contemplating buying it) but the hype is going to kill it for a lot of people when they find out it's not everything they expected.
I'm more excited for Empire: Total War anyways.

I enjoyed the first game the first time I played it, but having gone back since then and playing it again I see that its a horrible, buggy, clunky game . I tried to love it the 2nd time but it just didn't happen.
The sequel means nothing to me. It's just another console shooter, they're all the same.

Theres too many fun looking games coming out this year. SC2, Diablo 3, Empire: total war, bunch of console games, some other PC games I can't remember off the top of my head.

The final product has been proved to look better than the target render in multiple comparisons from notable websites.

Millions of people flocked to Halo 3 (and that probably includes some of you "OMFG FIRST WAS SHITE ERGO THIS ONE IS AUTOMATICALLY SHITE! posters) but I classify that as bland. I've played a beta version of KZ2 back in October and I was amazed...the graphics were amazing....Crysis quality on a console pretty much. The motion blurring effects, bloom, lighting is fantastic. Though there are irrevelant AI issues (such as using your knife only means most enemies won't shoot you, a huge flaw that will inevitably be patched and for those not trying to exploit it is as I said irrelevant) but the Helghast's AI in ranged combat is superb. I wasn't lucky enough to be in the MP beta but I've heard nothing but good things.
Do NOT judge a game on it's previous installment. KZ1 may have been severely underwhelming but KZ2 looks set to blow away most of the competition easily and is definatly a day 1 buy for me.
