Since yesterday my system resets after sometime playing BF2 or SF. I tryed on a second PC with a other graficcard - same. Both system work with W2K SP 4 - till now perfect. Anyone encounter same?

Yes, I did reinstall BF2, SF & Patch.... Doesn´t help.

I have the same issue - also with Win2k SP4
wonder if that's the key?

never happened before I installed SF and the latest patch... could be connected

I've searched the forums, but couldn't come up with any problems that sounded quite the same.  I'm pretty sure after having played BF2 for months prior that it's not a temp issue.  My system is well within its abilities.

Athlon XP 2600+
1 GB RAM
Radeon 9800 128MB gfx

its punkbusters new update thats causing BSOD and fps drop / lag.
