epic waste of time and resources?

i gained more experience fucking around with dope than i ever would have in college...

in fact, WHILE i was fucking with dope i learned russian, wrote a book about the soviet occupation of afghanistan, met charlie wilson, mike vikers and sergei sokolov....continued traveling to what has now amounted to 49 of the 50 states...

lol, i have more drive as a pothead than most of you do, period.

your in new york, amirite?

if i were you, i would hop down to see the appalacians, then swing and hit ohio/kentucky...then down south, to say alabama (check out white sands)..then honestly, i would stay south the whole way (if you are going across the entire continent)....but up north is REALLY pretty...

lol, i could tell you someplace that kicks ass in every state i have been too, so this is hard...if you are seriously interested, let me know what states you would like to hit, and ill throw some ideas out.

Meh, from my viewpoint, if i can somehow justify spending abut £10 a week on cigs, i can justify signing up for eve. and it's not particularly addictive - i was way more hooked on bf2 for example.

Judge me by what I choose to do, not what I choose not to do.

Before you ask what I do choose to do is much too personal to give the internet a glimpse of.

That is a very, very long time. To someone who is well aware of various trades and various proficiency levels, you should understand that it is mathematically impossible to be very proficient in a slew of interesting areas.

@roadtrip: I remember a roadtrip from Houston to Florida. I was only 10 though, so I was too young to enjoy it. I thought everything was boring as fuck, except for florida. I remember pressing an oldschool 15" TV between the two front seats so I could watch movies.

LOL maybe for you.

i excel in whatever i do...however i do it...whenever i do it.

i have been making knives for five years, and am already compared to guys that have been doing it before i was even on the planet.
i have been playing the violin for less than six months, and i already perform on stage with a band.
i wrote a book as a fucking hobby...and learned one of the hardest languages there is to learn....as a hobby, tovarich
i was training for the olympics, AFTER i was already an accomplished swimmer.

the list can go on...my point is; that 10,000 hours bullshit is laughable at best.

See I find it impossible to think like that, because when I think of something that's so interesting and important that I make a mental note to do it, I'll just go and do it next year or in the near future....the way I've always lived my life.

Haha I created such a shit-storm in this thread by suggesting it's acceptable to experiment with drugs in a responsible way... and well, it is. GTFO -->

I don't really get why people have turned this thread into a justify-your-current-life crisis. Especially when said people are the ones spending their current wholly-enriched life thinking 'what if...' on Internet forums. Jesus H Christ. If you are a complete, fulfilled and enlightened individual then go and turn that mentality into a few million bucks in business, or settle down with a wife and family and live your suburban domestic dream. I think everyone on this Forum is really on the road/ladder/shitstream to where they want to ultimately be- because if you are the completely self-made and complete person, you wouldn't be spending time every day to post meaningless shit onto a fraction of cyberspace. Much like Parker said, go do it.

I agree. Too bad no one on this thread has an extremely successful business, or a nice suburban family. Possibly Kmarion, but I don't think he is a millionaire. (could be wrong)
