this is a long shot but take the graphics card out and try the onboard. in very rare cases the onboard has caused conflicts with a graphics card in the slot.

I tried starting the comp via the onboard gfx card without having another card plugged in.

take the stuff back to the shop then. Clearly something is not right with the components...

My local comp dealer told me that the mainboard is broken.
So I'm getting a new one tomorrow, thanks for all the help and input
hopefully my problem is solved.
