When I click on the .bat icon cmd opens and asks me for win version and press any key to continue. Well doesn't matter what I press cmd just closes itself and nothing happens. help

Try to stop the cmd closing because your probably missing an error message.
This should mean the window doesn't close automatically for you, any error messages can be viewed.Change the path of the command in the shortcut

right click bat, select edit, put pause in the last line, save rerun
instead of closing, it'll say the usual "press any key to contiue blah blah" stuff and you can see what went wrong.
Actually while you're at it, post up the contents of the bat, maybe some obvious error there

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
didn't work max, I edited two lines instead of just the last and it didn't work either, it still just closes.
