HDD in question is a Maxtor 7Y250M0

It's failed to write/read about 3 times in the past 24 hours.

It's 250gb.

So either someone sends me a nices (used i don't give a shite) hdd of equal cap, or i buy a new one.

right click the drive, properties, tools, error checking

it'll give you some BS about not being able to check now and that it want's to schedule at check at the next boot, hit yes, reboot
