I don't see why getting teamkilled counts as a death. I just don't see how it makes any sense.

You can play on a no TK server.  Then you don't have to worry about it.

Or, when it asks if you want to punish the team killer, his points will be adducted.

TK - Short for the term "Teamkill." Seen also as TK'er; "Teamkiller" or TK'd "Teamkilled."

Made up of two words, 'Team' and 'Kill.' Meaning that a player on the same team as you, has killed you.

Since you usually die when you are killed (at least I do) no matter by who, it counts as a death.

In short: stop being a whiny bitch.

I would like to see this implemented into the punish system:

If someone teamkills you and you punish, they loose 4 points and you get a death.

If you get tk'ed and you forgive, the teamkiller looses no points, you don't get a death added to your score, and it lets you spawn instantly (no 15 sec respawn time)

YEAH!  That actually sounds fair.....too bad it don't work in real life though.......that would be cool since most of teh American soldiers lost in the first Iraqi war were TKs.

They get deducted no matter if you punish or not.....I wish people understood that.  The only thing "PUNISH" does is count towards kicking them from the server.  You shoot someone -2, you kill them after the -2 first shot, -4.  -6 total.

They would have died even though they could have pressed page up
No self respecting soldier/BF2 player ever presses Page Up if it's not a kick vote
