I Have to move my steam folder enentually because im running out of space on this drive so I plan on moving it to my other drive. I figured I could just uninstall steam and reinstall it on the other drive then just redownload my games but I was wondering it there was a simpler and quicker way. I heard people copy cfg files to the other drive but then their steam wont download media files.

I don't want that

email ur reply back asap

You werent aware of this?  I do it all the time, Ive got 3 drives in my rig, with certain apps on certain drives.  Only thing it really effects is speed, but even then its hardly noticable.

However on topic, you could always backup all your games and such via steams backup utility, or copy the folders over like said and install over there.
