I've had that before, usually fixes itself after a while.

Fill it with water, and then blame it all on water

In seriousness: It will go away eventually sometime today.

It'll probably clear itself, if it's still bugging you tomorrow go get something from a pharmacy that'll disolve the wax buildup in there, will sort it in 5 mins.

Try chewing some gum. Whenever that happens to me and I chew gum it goes away. Preferably "5 gum" cause it tastes awsome.

When you sleep, sleep so that the ear you're having trouble with is facing downwards. That's what I do, can often help clear it.

Guys I have things with my ear too sometimes. I have exelent hearing and often hear stuff others do before it's loud enough for guys around me to. Well enough bragging...

Sometimes I get this "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" noise that comes and goes, or I hear other stuff too, usually I only notice it at night when everything is really quiet.

Hold your nose. Close your mouth.

Blow out of your mouth as hard as you can, while still keeping it closed.

You should feel your ears pop as pressure returns to normal.

That's called tinnitus. It isn't a good thing.
@Henno - could be a wax clog. If it isn't gone in 24 hours, go to your GP and they'll schedule you for some pressurized water to be blasted at your ear - it'll clear it all and you'll go "wow".

Lol no I mean not that bad. No I don't go to any concerts or hear anything too loud, and I wear protection when I'm shooting. (ear protection...duh).

It's not that bad, but it's just wierd, like when I'm in a very quiet place I'll hear a very faint "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" for like maybe 3 seconds until I hear a noise then it goes away...maybe just my mind playing tricks on me

EDIT: And how come I hear sogood then?

I have had something like that for several years now.
It was after I had been on an aeroplane.

I used to get that sometimes, usually it's the electricity in the wires in the walls as it sometimes makes a faint sound that matches that description. Normally you can't hear it but when it's quiet you can. When you're older it'll go as your hearing stops picking up certain frequencies.

Have you had a cold recently?  I get this after I have colds most often.  It could be just a little ear infection either way.

the EEEE sound is just ringing ears. I think it has to do with the bones in your ear being excited.
