Is this a good deal? Also my mobo is ASUS P5L-VM1394 and I currently have a sound card in the lowest PCI slot and a  7900GS in the PCI-E x16 or whatever slot. Is the 8800gts any bigger (height wise) than the 7900GS or does anyone with this mobo, a sound card installed, know if this will fit? Also would my CPU (E6600 @ 2.4ghz) bottleneck?

Specs:
ASUS P5L-VM1394
nvidia 7900GS
2gb RAM
Intel C2D E6600 @ 2.4ghz

Thanks.

Should work alright. Nice price, too.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

It will fit, but you will have very limited airflow.

The lower card is a 8800GTS G92 and as you can see, it just fits, your sound card will be the same distance away as the bottom of my mobo chamber.

My Chieftec 500W (Bit weaker than DU's) managed to power my GTX260 and 8800GT under full load. Pretty nice PSUs, but I hate how they emit noise onto the electrical line. I can often hear a loud, high-pitch EEEEEEEEEEEE in my speakers with it on.

G92s are nothing compared to GT200.

is it really that big of a difference?  i heard the Supreme FX II (same card i have, lol) just acts as the motherboard headers and that it's actually onboard sound you're getting.  is that true?

Yeah but it plays everything I need it to so no reason for an upgrade.

Ya. SFXII is just a riser for some Analog Devices crap-DAC.

In that case, I have an OCZ 600W (see sig for specs), would that power a GTX280/GTX260 fine?  NewEgg suggest "600W minimum" for some those cards, I'm sure if this is crap or legit.

did u google it before posting? I mean, if you google 8800 GTS and look at the prices that come back, I think its pretty obvious $75 is a steal.
