Those are a few that I've read multiple times.
I liked The Stranger for some reason I can't quite put my finger on, but I don't like those books because I never feel that I walk away from it with the everything I can gain from it.
That's what's so great about art - whether its a drawing, a song, a poem, a book...there is always something else to be gained.  As long as you are looking for something else you will have that feeling.  It may come as an excerpt from a story that you never really thought about, or a profound lyric in a song...the thirst for knowledge is never quenched, and each drink is amazing.

Yes,yes, couldn't agree with you more. I just love those quiet evenings in front of the fire with a glass of '78 Merlot by my side and an anthology of Bertrand Russell essays in my hand.  What a pleasure it is to read, Sir

Those that have read it will understand, those tha thaven't should read it.

One of my other favorite reads those was "The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy" (all the books mind you)  Truly, truly a volume of human understanding of themselves and the universe
I preferred the shadow series tbh.

I haven't read a good book in forever. I should go down to the library one day and get something.

Hmm.  I read it, thought it was a good book, but not really one of my favorites.

My favorites: The Lord of the Flies, 1984, Animal Farm, Fahrenheit 451.  Yeah English 2 was a good year.

If you haven't read The Odyssey, it's better than Ulysses (although the stories are quite similar and it's just another Greek/Roman potato/tomato).
