these games are meant to be played with a mouse and keyboard. Absolute shame that all the new BF series are abandoning their roots and moving onto consoles exclusively.

Also, 24 players? That's pathetic, BF had 64 players back in 2002, de-evolution anyone? I think this will be too consolish for my taste

64 players w/ 2002 graphics. This is a test to see if they want to continue in this direction, so let's support it. BF1942 w/ updated graphics for 09 sounds good to me, so I'm supporting anything close to it.Sydney wrote:

Bit disappointed with 24 players again. Hopefully PC mods/patches etc.. come out that make it more for the PC. I dunno why you guys are saying it looks shit, looks fun to me.
Apparently some people have a reflex reaction to new games by EA and they mumble incessantly "EA sux, i want moar modern stuff, ww2 overdone" blah blah blah

They're doing a modern game too, BF:BC 2. Yet people are still bitching. Frankly, I think these two games will sell really well, especially on the PC market cos the PC market has been waiting a long time for this, especially a game like BC2 will (hopefully) be. DICE got something right with the Frostbite engine and they're expanding on it, kind of like what the holy grail that is Valve (according to bf2s) did with the Source engine.
Unless they are 2 different games but with the same title then it will be gay.

YESSSSSSSSS, bf1943 and as destructible as bad company, hehehe. I hope they bring back the classiness of bf1942 in it as well. Also hopefully the pc version will have 64 players, they might be concentrating on the console versions more than the computer one which is why they said 24.
