Here in Vienna you put it on kebabs, mix it in with your fried noodles/rice or put it on your pizza. The stuff is truly ubiquitous at the various food stands in this city, especially in the inner district.
Yeah, goes with just about everything. Best are with teriyaki or bbq'ed meats of all variety. Hell, I even add it to soup to spice things up a bit.

^ This. The flavor is pretty universal.
I've used it in scrambled eggs before. Combine that, habanero seeds, onions, peppers and 3-4 eggs emptied out into a ziplock. Mix. Boil, empty, chop up. Done, no mess except a ruined digestive tract as your innards are chemically burned.
