It was actually what Richard Hammond said to the French skiers during the Audi RS6 challenge. I kinda wish I spoke French, but it seems awful difficult to learn.
English (well ofc)
Spanish (conversationally)
Chinese - Mandarin (pretty badly which is sad)
and I understand the Visaya and Tagalog dialects (Philippines)

I'm told Finland has the hardest language, followed by French. The basics of french are easy--speaking and writing it well is damn near impossible for one raised in English.Finray wrote:

French grammar and spelling are fucking annoying. Speaking it isn't that hard though.FatherTed wrote:

French isn't hard to learn at all. I've spent 10 years in French courses and still can't speak to anybody in a reasonable conversation. I can write an essay and speak just fine, but I labour to do so. (Spelt out for you- I agree, it's hard)
