I'm thinking about replacing my mobile phone, and I'm lost in which I should get.

What I want, is slide-up function, multimedia functions and a nice (fairly large) display.

My budget is around £230.

I have myself been thinking about the LG KF750 Secret.

Thanks for any suggestions.

EDIT: I'm not to happy about touchscreen.

I would definitely recommend anything from HTC. That includes the G1 with Android on it.

If you're planning on getting a data plan, you should definitely get a mobile phone with a smartphone OS.
You'll have the much better choice of available software for various internet and GPS apps.
I.e. Windows Mobile, Symbian or Android are the OSs with the most software available AFAIK.

Well, I'm just planing on getting a regular mobile phone. Not one with Windows Mobile and stuff like that.

So you don't want a smart phone? Hm ...

Perhaps you should just get one of the Walkman phones from Sony Ericsson. That would be my recommendation to you. Not sure why the slider form factor is so important to you, but whatever.

Well, I like it, but it's not a absolute must in the end, if I can get a nice one without.

I have Nokia E51 and I'm loving it. Gotta love WLAN whenever I'm around free wireless networks

E51 is awesome. My mate's (which inspired me to tell you about it ) saved the day with it's web radio capabilities today.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
