I remember reading it when I was like 12 and just loving it so much that I bought like every Dynasty Warriors and RTK game. Anyone else here fans of the games or the story?

For those that don't know what it is; it was a romanticized version of a civil war in China that went from 169 AD to 280 AD.

I'm a pretty big fan of the book and a few of the games. Own DW3, DW4 Epmires, Dynasty Tactics 2, ROTTK 9 and 10. I pretty much played through all the characters in DW3(loved that game), all 40 or w/e of them. All the other ones after have been pretty much the same thing and don't interest me.

When I went off to college I decided to buy the book. I really liked it but I think I stopped reading it around the time BF2 came out. Got a little over half way through and I haven't picked it back up since but I'd like to. The only problem is I have a version with a different translation so it's annoying translating the names into the characters I already know. Plus it has a lot of spelling errors.

Which was your favorite of the three kingdoms? Shu, Wu, or Wei?

I absoloutely hate it when people romanticise war, yeah, fuck you Pearl Harbour, fuck you "Australia" with that chuck norris look alike that that bitch, and fuck you Dynasty Warriors although I remember playing the game and being one dude surrounded by thousands of Chinamen and thinking "shit, that's alot of enemies"

Chinese history is pretty interesting. Lot of crazy stuff happened there.

There's a 2 part movie called red cliff, the second part comes out in a few months. Massive chinese blockbuster directed by John woo, not really marketed much over here because they want to combine the 2 parts into one, shorter movie for a later release. If you like rottk and epic battles it's a must watch.

For some reason Wu. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's cuz I like their color, or maybe because they're characters were the funnest to play as, or maybe cuz they're an underdog, I don't know. I don't even like playing as the other factions in the romance games.
