Are you doing that while you're in windows? :s

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

I still don't see what people have against Vista. As long as your computer can handle it, it's really not as bad as people make it sound.

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
I find it very funny the worst Vista haters praise Win7, which is quite frankly evolved Vista...

I'm using vista, besides the fact it gave me the weirdest, dumbest and the most random issues ever, its quite good.
[captnobvious] W7 is Microsoft's tentative at redoing Vista because it failed pretty hard. Hence why it came out so early. Lets hope they succeed this time........ [/captnobvious]
BTW I'm too lazy to go to XP.

k well my xp is way faster than vista was, but keep telling yourself that
U have NO IDEA of multi-gpu scaling with vista. or load times with 6gbphishman420 wrote:

Me and Max are the ones having most stuff around with Vista yet we have no issues with it.

older hardware or more obscure hardware has problems with Vista but not with W7
if i wanted an O/S that only supported specific hardware, i'd buy a fucking mac
like the whole original point of windows was that it would run on most computers, as opposed to mac where you need specific hardware (yes i am aware of hackintoshes but they're not the easiest thing in the world to do, nor is the o/s designed to do this)
I had Vista with AMD 3500+, 2GB ram and X800XT PE without issues. And I would say I have tried a good deal of hardware comnbinations too hehe...

Ehm.. edited the first post...
Vista will work fine unless you're running 6+ years old hardware, on which you shouldn't be running Vista in the first place.JoshP wrote:

On topic, did you set your boot device to CD-ROM?

Go to BIOS, change boot device priority to 1st = DVD-DRIVE
