Hi there

I just attached my HD4850 to my Mirai HDTV with the VGA cable and it looks mint

I was wondering if there was a way I could make my PCs audio come out of my TVs speakers?

What do I need to do?

Thanks

I get sound (and video) through my TV using a HDMI cable from my HD4870. DVI to HDMI works also as the 4800 series has a sound device thing built into it.

Find your camera.

What you're looking for are RCA(red+white) inputs OR 3.5mm(Headphone jack) inputs somewhere near the VGA In, or labeled "Computer Audio" or something of that matter. Then get a cable that lets you plug 3.5mm(computer audio out) to that type of plug.

I have a black "earphone out" a red "audio right", a white "audio left", a yellow "AV" and one with about 6 smaller holes in it called "s-video"

I honestly don't know where the camera is

Fix'd. Jacks are female.

That's kinda creepy in a way.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

That's odd. My electronics teacher is a nazi with that.

Guess he and I got proven wrong.
