4670 would be perfect for your system.. anything less would bottleneck it tbh.
Also, look into overclocking the CPU. Q6600 is one of the best overclockers atm.

But yeah it's running dry. I think the idea as a whole works though, maybe it could be converted into something for BF2s in general. If it goes like this one has, i don't think it'll run out of control.
