Just turned my PC on this morning, however normally the fans on the card spin up and then back down but today they just span up and didn't go back down, and no video output to my screens. I have tried a different card and its fine, so now i need to rma the gts.

Just went on to the BFG site and few things:

In the warranty it said i have to register it on their site 30 days after purchase. I haven't. Will that be a problem?
I dont really want to send it to the US, do they?
I cant find the S/N on the card. I have looked online and many other owners have this problem.

I brought the card in may 08.

Should i stick with BFG Rma service or overclockers?

thanks.

Go for BFG.

I recently sent back my "Faulty" 7600GT to them, which I bought in 2006/07.

Was fucking fast! Sent it, next day they had recieved it and sent it back out, and I got it the next working day (Damn weekend).

All you need to do is Email the RMA team. They'll set you up an RMA number and tell you how/where to post it.

All BFG cards have HUGE warranties, so don't worry.

And if you're lucky, they'll give you something better than what you had. For example, I had a 7600GT, got back a 7900GS. james@alienware gave back his 8800GTX and got a 260, I think... Or a 9800GTX+, can't remember.

But yeah, it's all good.

Edit: I think they're based in Wales.

7500 is just a 7300LE in disguise.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Turns out the only proof of purchase Overclockers offer is the email when you buy the product. Some how this has been deleted from my inbox and i find it had to belive that im not covered now with BFG.

Looks like i have to go with OC
