Quite frankly, the whole ordeal is despicable, though I can sympathise. My mum had a month when she was diagnosed, which was over all too quickly. The fact that the PM called Jade "brave" is utter bullshit...she has no choice: end of. So to me, hearing of this shit every day just brings back what I, and everyone I know, had to deal with.
That is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemies, and unless you have been though it, you cannot criticise or understand. However, I wish she'd just fucking get on with it so I, and any other family that has been affected by this shit, can stop having it rammed down their fucking necks every time they want to watch the fucking news or read the fucking paper.

I remember my granda developing a tumour in his throat, effectively stopping him from swallowing food. For about six months he had to take fluid through a tube in his stomach before he was hospitalised and passed away. The man wasn't printed into the paper, he wasn't handed any money or photographed. Frankly, I find the fact she's cashing in on her own death kinda sick. Its pretty much gone beyond getting enough for her kids to get by, its getting them enough to have private schooling and all the trimmings. I might have given a bit more respect for the money-making escapade if it was for a cancer related charity or something.
At the end of the day its a bad thing that's happened to her, but I see the way she is going about it as wrong and the way people lap it up as a form of media entertainment (and pay for it) as even more wrong.
