I use it but I can't stand the community. Everybody on Digg is so incredibly biased. They complain when people repost something or keep posting updates or something, yet they always digg like 7000+ times that Firefox is getting a higher market share. I have seen advertisements for Apple on their front page too. Not creative ads, literally a picture of a billboard for Apple... I remember during that whole stupid Michael Phelps problem with him smoking weed, there was literally at least 7 articles about how he shouldn't apologize posted within 2 days of each other.

I like going there to look for interesting articles but there's basically no opinion on that site. And to top it off, if your facts go against their opinions, they'll bury you. I remember there was an article about how trucks/SUVs are going out of style and every post was something along the lines of "trucks are so impractical, you're a deuche if you drive one." That right there is naive enough but I come on and post with a link saying that trucks/SUVs aren't dying. In that link, it showed statistics that trucks like the Chevrolet Silverado has outsold small economic cars like the Toyota Camry year to date at the time. The link was Motortrend... They buried me basically because they didn't want to hear anybody disagree with them.

It's a good site to look for articles but I suggest saving yourself the trouble of registering for the site unless you want to get criticized for disagreeing, even if you have reason on your side...

You know, being involved in sites daily, I have never been able to get involved in these such sites.

Ironically I have to create some just like that and I don't know... I just don't seem to want to go on them.

Most of them are overpopulated sites with many immature fuckwits who will do anything to bring said site down to its knees. I have my selection of sites I visit, and I don't need something amassing all of them together. I find it just clutters the way I browse the internet. Maybe the odd time I go onto Youtube to check on something, or onto Digg to see a specific article, but I just don't find myself getting attached.

I tried Twitter, it failed. I tried Facebook, it spammed me with emails.

Last.fm is the only site I really have respect for in this new era of cool sites. Well, last.fm and maybe netvibes. But then again, I only really go onto them if I desperately need something.

Twitter is all about who you follow. I'm getting cool as shit updates from NASA and that simply > everything else.
