I misread CJ information yesterday night. The correct interpretation should be GeForce GTX 260 to get even cheaper at US$179, a further reduction of $20 from US$199. AMD is probably going to react to the GTX 260 price cut as well for their Radeon HD 4870 cards. Price war is certainly good for consumers, bad for AMD and worse for Nvidia.

If that price translates to € at <180€, what the hell I'll buy one or two. (better load temps and more silent than GTX 295 tbh, 99c in Cryostasis :S )

Yes.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity.
