K. I'll take you up. Test Cricket (especially), Football (soccer), Bowls, competition skateboarding, endurance motorsports, endurance cycling... Those are what I can come up with from the top of my head.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:
Not really. Most sports the cerebral decision making is predominantly done by coaches off the field and well in advance.Flecco wrote:
Same can be argued of almost any sport though.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:
Baseball is one of the most cerebral sports though. There are many more decisions to be made. Baseball is not as grueling athletically as sports such as football and soccer but there is still athleticism - running and throwing. Especially for pitchers - throwing hard won't get you into the bigs, but throwing really hard with good mechanics will.
don't know the full story yet. As it stands he punched someone in the face outside the groundThe Sheriff wrote:
Would he do it if he was on his own, in the stands without any of the security guards/stewards with him though?
Not really hard to punch someone who is over a railing that can't get to you.

Yeah those are (with the exception of cricket because I don't know much about it) mostly physical sports with little real-time decision making. Soccer you have certain sets you play in. There is decision making, but it's not like baseball where the decision making is different virtually every play. Factors like runners on base, outs, where the ball is hit, how fast the runners on base are, how strong you can throw, how many runs you are up or down all influence the decisions players have to make real-time.Flecco wrote:
