I'm fairly sheltered on the gore front aside from stuff that I've seen/done while out hunting.
My introduction to hunting was fun though. I was 12 and went out with my Dad and his old school mate Grant. He shot a goat and butchered it there on the spot. Then it's Kid which was watching in the bushes - now THAT goat would have been able to tell you some stories about gore - except it can't because Grant, at the sound of the rustle of the bush spun 'round and fired at the thing from his hip, hit it in the neck, tackled it and butchered that one too.
I just stood there.

I closed a penknife on my finger which went straight down to the bone. If it had rotated it would have pretty much skinned the whole side of it. Not that interesting compared to ATG though.
Was at camp in summer. Was standing on a post about 3 feet off the ground, were about 6 of them evenly spaced to keep cars from going through or whatever. Decided it would be a good idea to jump from one to the other, I jumped and missed, landed on the ground, instantly clapped my hand over my leg, felt like I skinned it or something. A couple camp counselors ran over to see what had happened, I still had my hand clapped over leg. I decided to take a peak, and was very surprised by the result. Turns out there was a bolt or something sticking out of the post, cut my leg 8 inches all the way down to the bone. The whole thing was in a curve, like a smiley face or something cept the chunk of muscle/skin was flapped up. Blood wasn't really gushing, more like an oozing and it didn't hurt much at all, just a slight stinging. Ended up taking two layers of 80 stitches, had to walk around on crutches all summer. Still have a sweet scar from it.
When I was about 10 I kicked a dead chick (baby chicken, not a woman), It hit off a tree and it's head came out it's arse.

The first time I went hog hunting I shot one in the skull with a hollow point. The entrance wound was pretty small but the exit wound was a horror show.

Watching my brothers snake eat live mice back in the day was pretty gross. When the snake had the mouse constricted the mouse's eyes would bulge out and blood would leak from its eye sockets.

My flawless technique for getting bugs in my room is spraying them with an upside down can of compressed air. The frozen gas stuns them for a second, giving me a chance to finish the kill..Sup wrote:
