Buy condo, one shitty car and build a huge vault to swim around in all the money that's left over.

For £800,000 - £1M I could think of an unbelievable garage to amass, and not a 'Vette insight. Dons flamesuit.

I figured I'd be realistic and account for the cost of jet fuel and maintenance over the life of the plane (small plane of course). Houses is also a good option; a bf2s club house really. I figured I would keep my suggestion to transportation options though.

Yes, it's fantastically built, and yes, it's an engineering masterpiece, but

It's hideous. Crass. Ridiculously priced. Impractical.
Well almost every car is practical, unless you regular tow things, it's impractical for anybody to have a car with more than 150bhp. Practicality should be thrown out the window unless you're strapped for cash as far as I'm concerned.

The veyron was never meant to be practical. It wasn't even meant to make money, it was pretty much a purely technical exercise.

Oooohh, a Veyron. Sounds good...raising 1million might be hard for us

But, an Aston Martin DB9, or the DBS....are within range. And, they're  beautiful cars.

And cheap as fuck to insure (for me, anyway ).

did you know that at top speed, the veyron's tires will burst after 15 minutes?

it's not a problem though because a full tank of gas will last you 12 minutes

Ted it was NOT a purely technical exercise. It was practical and very cost effective for it's purpose.
