Wow, United were completely outplayed. But the thing is, the Premier League isn't decided by games between the big four. Which is why at the end of the day, they're still 4 points clear with a game in hand even though except for the 3-0 win against Chelsea, they've done really shit against the other big teams. If United win the league or not, this game will be remembered. Only chance for revenge this season will be if they draw 'em in the CL. Scousers will think the title is back on, but IMO, they'll go back to losing points against the other teams whilst the Mancs will do business as usual against the other teams. That's what the league is about, Liverpool can raise their game against Real Madrid and Man Utd but can't beat Middlesbrough and lose 2-0 to them etc.. that's why IMO, they're still a shit team. Until they can get some sort of consistency going and show that they can play a league properly instead of being a cup team that only plays the one-off games against the big guys, then IMO, they will still be considered a lesser team.
Top performance by them, though. 4 goals against Madrid, and now 4 at Old Trafford. Very very good form they're in, it seems. But I reckon they'll lose points in their next game, being the team they are (like Arsenal)
