What, drawn, and talk of peace! I hate the word, As I hate hell, all Montagues, and thee: Have at thee, coward! /Shakespeare

Now sometimes you must have double standards for things. What works for one group of people wouldn't work for another. Now in the middle east we've learned that only a strong iron fist can hold those people down. Maybe that is what they need a strong iron fist.
Oh my. Your ignorance is certainly entertaining. Sadly it's the middle of the night around here... Proper answer will have to wait. But honestly mate... I don't know whether to laugh or cry!
I would love to hear a response to that. In the mean time I will have to think since you are Greek to make either a gay joke or pedophilia in the near future.
Umm... right o...

First off you can keep your gay jokes for yourself especially seeing as though my remark about your country was directed at your government and not its people - and also it was true, unlike your moronic insinuations.

Now about this:

Macbeth wrote:

The notions of what is just are by no means defined by the laws - rather by the morals and values of a certain populace in a certain time and place. The laws are then created on the basis of those ideals - not the other way around.

Also, your government is a body of individuals who were elected by the people in order to serve them. Not rule over them. Their role is to implement the will of the people and nothing more. You are deeply mistaken to think that those elected officials have any jurisdiction or authority to tell you what is right and wrong.

It is your DUTY as a citizen to make sure that those elected officials do not cross any lines or misuse the power given to them in any way. They are your servants. Not your fucking mentors. Ideally you should trust them to do a fucking job but that's it. Doubting and criticizing their every decision is an essential part of Democracy.

History has shown on multiple occasions what happens when the people fail - for whatever reason - to keep their governors on a leash and instead grant them more power than they are entitled to.

You cannot deny the fact that historically Greeks have been a large amount of the homosexuals and pedophile population.
Aside from that, you said justice is defined by the morals and values of a certain populace in a certain time. First off we would have to assume that the entire group agrees on one set of morals. Then now with American activist going to Israel they are pushing their moral values off on other people. Our sense of justice isn't the same as the middle east. If it were we'd all be stoned to death at some point.
In theory government is meant to server you but in practice you serve the government.

Yes I can and I do deny it. It's one of those ludicrous stereotypes spewed by simpletons and malevolent morons who have misread Socrates and Plato. But that bullshit is not only beneath me, it's beside the point.

No, we don't have to assume that. There's nothing in the world everyone agrees with. Why would everyone need to agree anyway? What are you talking about?

The Middle East has no specific set of moral values. Neither does America, or any other country or region for that matter.
And if you dislike the "pushing" of values by one protester, how do you feel about your military pushing its values in Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam etc etc?

An American activist who participated in a Palestinian 'solidarity' demonstration is in serious condition Saturday after an Israeli soldier shot him in the face with a high-velocity tear gas canister. He underwent surgery early Saturday.

Even as the rescue operation commenced, more tear gas rained down on the demonstrators as soldiers allegedly delayed ambulance access.

"Tristan Anderson, 38, of Oakland, Calif., was wounded Friday in the West Bank village of Naalin, during a protest against Israel's separation barrier," reported the Associated Press. "In the past year, four Palestinians have been killed and scores injured by Israeli troops putting down weekly stone-throwing protests against the barrier, which cuts off Naalin from 300 acres of olive groves."

"The Israeli soldiers were standing on the hill looking over us firing tear-gas canisters" Ulrike Anderson, who was with Tristan when he was hit, told the International Herald-Tribune. "Tristan was hit and fell to the ground. He had a large hole in the front of his head. I tried to stop the bleeding. He was bleeding heavily from the nose."

"Tristan was shot by the new tear-gas canisters that can be shot up to 500 meters," said Teah Lunqvist with the International Solidarity Movement, according to California's IndyBay. "I ran over as I saw someone had been shot, while the Israeli forces continued to fire tear-gas at us. When an ambulance came, the Israeli soldiers refused to allow the ambulance through the checkpoint just outside the village. After 5 minutes of arguing with the soldiers, the ambulance passed."

"Other ISM activists killed or injured by Israeli forces: Rachel Corrie, killed by a bulldozer in 2003; Brian Avery, shot in the face in 2003; and Tom Hurndall, shot to death in 2004," the site notes.

At the Berkeley Daily Planet, Tristan first became known as an environmentalist by sitting in trees to prevent their removal.

“He has worked extensively with Food Not Bombs,” Marcus Kryshka, one of Tristan's long-time friends, told the paper. “He was also heavily involved with the tree-sit.”

"Kryshka said one of the reasons for his trip to Israel 'was to engage in solidarity with the Palestinian protesters.'"

The Israeli army claimed protesters were throwing rocks at the troops.

"Anderson could very well die from his injuries," reported ABC. "And even if he does recover, his friends doubt he'll ever be the same, physically and mentally."

A British peace activist going only by the name Alice cries for help as she holds her hand over the headwound of British peace activist Thomas Hurndall, who had been shot in the head moments earlier, at the start of a protest, in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, Friday, April 11, 2003. Hurndall, age 21, from Machester, England, had been standing between Israeli troops and Palestinian children when Israeli soldiers opened fire, according to a fellow activist from the International Solidarity Movement who witnessed the scene.
and that is what gets you going eh?  that is what pisses you off huh?  is it because it is israel?  because that is a drop in the bucket compared to africa.  but, we write them off correct?
C'mon, everyone knows the Israeli army gang-rapes hundreds of women and forces 30,000 children to fight. You should be grateful the International Solidarity Movement is there to help them.

Be serious now pederasty is well documented to have occurred in Greece on a wide scale. Everyone one from military and religious leaders to poets and philosophers have been in homosexual relationships in ancient Greece. It is a fact of history that the Greeks did enjoy the sexual company of other men from time to time.

Now if the middle east or anywhere else doesn't have a definite set of moral values then how do we define what is justice and what is not since we have no definite set of moral values? According to you justice is set by moral values but now nobody has any set of moral values to go by.

I can't think of any war the U.S. has been in where our goal was to make them like us.
But those Greeks have been in plenty of wars where they have been pushing their ideals off and just conquering everyone for the hell of it.

No. Btw if you are going to insist on calling Greeks gay you might want to come up with some evidence.

All the wars and the coups that your intelligence services have been involved with have had the same goal. To create the proper environment for your economy to flourish. Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq twice, almost the entire Latin America, Greece, Cuba, Korea and many many more. Just like every other empire in the past. Yes, the Greeks too. If you study your history from an impartial source you might learn something.

Use your google my friend. Everyone knows Alexander the Great was bisexual, Plato liked little boys, and there are plenty of Greek art that shows common homosexuality among Greeks.

So you do fucking admit that you Greeks did have a bunch of wars of ideals on lesser people. Wait didn't weren't we on the side of your government during the Greek Civil War? Maybe you are angry that you couldn't win a civil war without our help. But either way your country was full of homosexuals at one point.
