Why the fuck isn't this closed?
I'll tell you all in a PM sometime, or over Xfire or something. Add me, I'll respect the BF2s code of conduct on that one- it was an inside joke and a spontaneous lulz and I'm happy to let it rest on the public Forum front.
As for Macbeth and Mek: Man you guys are jokers. Don't talk to me about Shakespeare Mek telling me what he based his plays on- no shit, that's common knowledge to all, not only scholars - most of the literature of that period was heavily influenced by the classical, by the epic, by the pastoral etc. Art and theatre is also an autonomously evolving artform and as such Shakespeare drew many historical influences and borrowed tropes/themes/subjects/plot conventions from contemporary writers and playwrights. Macbeth, I was being satirical; Titus Andronicus is widely regarded by all (academics and casual fans) as the buttend of his Folio. I still love it though, it's the Shakespearean version of 300, it's brutal and it's basic. If you need any 'expert academic opinion' to substantiate my claims, well I'm literally on the last week of a 2-term long intensive Shakespeare unit with the 2nd best Shakespeare academic and don in the world. Pretty credible I'd say, even if I only have to directly quote his own opinion without taking the initiative or intelligence to form my own (a practice I do not fall into, cough Poschy).

To those that got raged; rage some more. 6+ hours later and I'm pretty much ready to hit the sack sober and avoid all forms of hangover, and the day has been an absolute fucking blitz. I'm down £150 and definitely lost out on part of my education/integrity, but who gives a fuck? It was funny, and all of y'all that got trolled by an incoherent drunk prick are the even bigger fools. Especially you Bennis, you never disappoint anymore, you're such a hound!

I actually rate Vonnegut. Bit of an "ish" comparison to draw him to Shakespeare though, but he's definitely canonical within modern literature.
