Slow startup

I just bought a new video card(GF 9800)
Agter installing it, the startup got REALLY slow, after entering my pass for windows it takes ages for it to load. Then I relized my power supply isn't that good, bough a new 1(420w), but still no change
My SP: Windows vista Ultimate x64
BTW I tried later with my old video card and it was slow too, even though it started with normal speed before...
Processor: Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00GHz
3gigs of RAM
GF 9800(512mb)
Some random 500GB HDD

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

As Finray said, when's the last time you reformatted? It's a necessary pain in the ass for all Windows OS's.

/stealing a thread

I have a problem that it lasts some 5 minutes until it switches off or restarts reformat as well? reinstall? trojan?
