Procedure was a piece of cake. They offered me a relaxation drug, but I didn't think I needed it. The injection of the anesthetic was the most painful. After that I could feel the tug when the vas was lifted through the incision, but it wasn't painful, just felt weird. Doc and the nurse were chatting like they were sitting at the bar during the procedure. :D
No bruising or anything like some other guys have described. Probably helps that my surgeon had been doing this for 20 years so he's a pro. A little dull pain yesterday and today, but nothing tylenol can't handle. 3 weeks out I'll have postop checkup and 6 weeks following that the sample check so I can be cleared for active duty without contraceptives.
