Yeah actually, even though here in Britain our court affairs aren't televised nationwide (lulz Amerikkka), I studied Law for 2 years and sat in the public gallery many times for both criminal and civil cases, with judiciaries ranging from magistrates to Crown Court QC's. I have also read reams and reams of Hansard notes and case notes and can generally recognise the legal lexis and styles of judges and lawyers by their diction and turn of phrase.

Good enough, smart arse? This TV judge is daytime entertainment, she's legally on par with Judge Dredd- daytime TV cannon fodder.

Well it wasn't your point, it was my point- she makes entertaining TV but her show and its pretense of being a legal courtroom is a farce. When someone said she had impressive vocal skills, i.e. she was a good speaker for a woman of her profession, I simply refused to agree. My 'point' has never been that watching parliamentary debate and real court-cases is fun, my point was just that as far as judges go she has been struck with the unprofessional dumbstick. I don't really understand why you can never form a cohesive argument, all you do is counter individual posts with one-liners that backpeddle and contradict/confuse, constantly.
