This happened on Bebo too, I joined a band page, and once they got about 20,000 followers (they were a really popular band, can't remember what they were though) They changed their name to Gay Pride America.
One MORE reason for me to never bother with a Facebook account. They're really mounting up. Seriously the last thing I added to the list of reasons was the fact that a New Zealand judge ruled that you could be served with court papers through Facebook. Fuck that! I'm not opening myself up to that shit!
