No... Those are what the courts look like. Concrete walls with concrete floors, fenced, usually inside a park.

@Uzique, the wall looks all sloppy because it has been painted over with white paint many times to cover up graffiti.

Why would it be covered with graffiti if it wasn't strictly slumdog styleee? Just kidding, I don't really care.

I never considered this a real 'sport', I thought every schoolchild played a variation of this game on the school playground at some point, or out in the street against some wall with friends. On what basis do you consider it a serious sporting hobby? Are there actual teams and leagues? I'm still keeping the opinion that it looks a bit whack.

Around here there are high school teams and such. The handball courts all over the city are packed out on weekends and weekday afternoons. The game doesn't just entail hitting the ball against the wall. There are rules on scoring points, boundary lines and short/long serve lines. You can play 1 on 1 or doubles.
