All pilots should also select the medic kit, it keeps them alive out of bounds for almost double the time, this goes for heli pilots too.

The only kits in my opinion that should be used are Anti-Tank and Medic. All other kits should be used to a minimal as they are not as sufficient as Medic and Anti-Tank. However... Spec-ops, Engineer & Support are kits that should be used by specialised groups/roles.

So, nubs... Go Medic or Anti-tank, unless you intend to follow the special roles stated above

Just time the jets spawn and use a powerful and accuarate weopan like the M16 or AK101, attack the jet spawn with nades/bullets 5-10 seconds before the jet spawns and hop in. Sniper should be the least used kit in BF2, should.

If you bail you can't time the jet spawn, you just have to make do so being able to hijack a jet or chopper would be to your best advantage out in the open runway.

RPK is absolute rape on infy maps, great for slaughtering everyone while your medics reload. But 1 per squad is more then enough.

I thought missile lock was maintained, and they fixed that in a previous patch...at least, Mobile AA does when I have used it against solo'ers.

- Like in the Intro movie, artillery should only be called in by snipers, like in BC and BF:MW (cruise missiles tough in these cases).
- Allow snipers to pick-up claymores.

Why does everyone assume that they mean in real life and not in terms of game balance? Go look at the Mig/F-18 matchup, the F-18 is supposed to be better for the sake of balance, hence they only give it on assault maps like clean sweep and kubra. Even maps like oman and zatar they only give F-35s (even without a carrier like zatar 32).

The G36 has less recoil, but the QBZ is more accurate.

Assault kit gets much love from me. It's perfect for making medics tear their hair out with rifles pretty much equal to medic rifles plus body armour, plus GL to butcher medics in twos and threes as they revive each other. Body armour means you take one more bullet than they do to kill. It's not like maps are short of medic corpses to loot for medkits when you need them.

Of course, assault kit is massively stronger in SF than in vanilla. Kit balance in general is much better in SF.

Either/or you tool, im taking into account Dice's lack of competent developers and how it would be more logical/easier to change one plane instead of every other one.  I fly with ambush in mind, and <3 the F35, and the F35 is NOT perfectly fine.
