Point?

Besides of course more clear evidence that Texas is better than your state.

And that institutional racism is not dead, as per the unnecessary ethnicity column.

I don't want the state engaging in such activities.
I don't trust them. Today crimes, tomorrow political thoughtcrime.

Just give the murderers over to the family or put them in hard labor for life.

We have a Right to be executed?
Some of those men were on death row less than one year.

Violates #6 and of course #8

Capital punishment has stood up to #8 in the Supreme Court.

Fair enough.
Take a few minutes and read through some of the final statements.

Some of those men were innocent and your tax dollars were used to put them to death.

Government doesn't have the right to kill people.

Nothing does.

People dont have right to kill people, if they chose to do so, the gouvernement should also make the choice to remove said individual from societies to keep the rest of law abiding citizen safe.

Reading some of the case circumstances, I don't really mind these people being executed.

[sarcasim]if they were innocent then how did a jury of their peers find them guilty beyond a resonable doubt?[/sarcasim]

What does it mean (sic)?

I'm not made up on the death penalty I mean if someone is guilty beyond all reasonable doubt what is the point in keeping them alive if the have absolute no chance of rejoining society.

Then again you have someone like Tookie Williams I think he is called. He was the person who started the bloods I think he changed he discouraged young men when making the same mistakes he made. I'm pretty sure he wrote a book too I can't google at the moment I'm on my phone. Yeah well they still executed him even though it seemed like he learned from his mistake.

It's tough to call I mean who really has a right in who lives and dies, then again is it more economical to execute someone whom has no chance of reform?

Falsified evidence. The jury was prejudice. 13 white jurors convicted a single black defendant. The police placed the gun on the alleged criminal. etc

No case is 100% proven, ever. Which is why there is the thing called "reasonable doubt"

I personally would rather see lifelong sentences in the worst jail imaginable with no chance for parole rather than the death penalty. Death is too good for these bastards.

Well the minorities scream racism in that case.

It was the crips actually.
It's not so that punishment is cruel or harsh it's so that punishment is definite and inescapable. A person could always turn on what they believe or lie to save they're lives.

As long as you have capital punishment you will have innocents getting killed by the government, question is if you think that is okay or not ...
