Last night while playing the 64 version of Dragon Valley my team took the flag where the US sat and UAV are, so on my next death I switch to Spec Ops, spawn there and start to take out their assets when the US attack chopper sweeps in to recap the flag. I sneak around behind behind it, plant some c4 and get the 2 kills. Just gotta admit, it was an emergency decision and I hate it when someone does that to me, I was a little ashamed of myself for the rest of the round.
I will get my vet explosives badge, but not with c4

you dont like to take out enemy helicopters, who are killing your team mates, with the spec ops C4?

what do you prefer to do with your C4 then to make you feel good? kill your own team?

that is one of the many uses for C4! it is not a bad thing. i am sure the rest of your team were giving you praise once u had done it cause they would not get killed!

don't worry m8. You did good. If a pilot is actually stupid enough to land when trying to recap a flag, he got just what he deserved. who tries to cap flags with an attack chopper anyway. all you do is make yourself vulnerable to AT rockets and C4 guys.

Thats the best thing in the game I think there's nothing more satisfying than blowing any heli!!!

This weird thing happened to me yesterday, MEC stole our heli in Mashtuure
and as it was taking off I threw some C4 on it but then got gunned down, when I was revived my squad mates were telling me to detonate, I did but nothing happened it was really annoying as that same BH raped us for the rest of the round!

Any one know where the C4 went? Thanks.

Aslong I know, you're not able to detonate c4 after your respawn. Thats what i hate and love at the same time. Because putting some C4 on a tank and die is absoulut useless. The C4 still exist but because of the EA code also not explodable after your Spec Ops respawn.

If your team would have been smart, an AT-guy would sit in the stinger and an other one drive wiht a Spec Ops to their chopper-base (destroy the uav-trailer and sit in the stinger to) = no escape for the stolen Black Hawk unless the got some engineers on board. I did id also a few times and it's always a suprise for my enemies!!

My understanding is that if you respawn and grab your old kit, you can still detonate the C4 you planted. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work after being revived, though.

if you get revived all works fine, but if you respawn your old kit normaly has allready been gone or is to far away to get right in time.

think of it this way, your planted C4 is tuned only to the detonator of the that kit. So even if you die and respawn as spec ops it's not the same kit. but if you or another person grab the kit that was being use when the C4 had been planted they detonate it. P.S. nothing funnier then watching a spec ops run up under my blackhawk and try to plant a C4 on me only to have it fall back to the ground as i am hovering just in the capture zone and out of his reach. **watched one guy throw three chargesand miss at me as i rotated over the flag so one gunner could cut himdown.**

Don't feel guilty about using C4 to pop a chopper. It's difficult enough to kill a vehicle full of troops with C4, and a good chopper pilot will spot you a mile away. The chopper pilot should feel guilty for landing a damned great target in a predictable place. I hate chopper pilots who do that. If they want me to hop out and take the flag, fine. I'll try to capture the flag. But to keep the chopper sat there for thirty seconds is guaranteed to cost you a valuable chopper. New pilots should definitely not be landing at flags. That C4 delivery had his name on it.

I think there's a distance that the C4 passes from the detonation joystick so it doesnt make any effect.
