Top 10 user disappears....wonder why?

I just noticed this on the game Leaderboard yesterday.....Perseverence has disappeared and at the time was ranked 6th although he still shows up on the website here at number 6.
Seems odd to me that he was banned by EA after accumulating so many hours and points.If I had my way,if anyone should have their points taken away it's RD Volx.....the bunnyhopping KING from HELL.

Oh no, dont' tell me Perseverence got whiped... He was pretty good! I played with him. Good on foot, good in the air, he played all aspects of the game in the 3 or 4 rounds I played with him.

I've seen perserverence playing karkaand a few times. he's usually in some form of armor as USMC raping MEC that are stupid enough to spawn at that flag. Usually has an insane K ratio. Just really good at raping, which is fine.
I don't know what he did but since he plays hours on end and gets 70 to 120 points a round he probably gets a few thousand every day he plays. Could just be as simple as that. They just auto-wiped him because he crossed some threshhold of how many points you're supposed to get in a day.

Or maybe he actually did something, but a lot of people get wiped just due to being suspect appearantly so it's quite possible he did nothing.

If he was wiped just for doing well then a lot of people in the top 20 or 30 should watch out since more than a few of them get their kills by raking up insane points in armor or jet hours on end every day.

Ever wonder if some of the guys being wiped are like test accounts for guys at EA and just got over used? Any way, just a thought.

he's showing up on bf2s...come to think of it, i haven't seen him on in the past few days. he's a regular of Moder's Karkand. even though he always takes a tank or apc to the left hill before the entrance of the city and fires into the fenced in area and racks up the kills...there's nothing wrong with it (if you're dumb enough to continually run through that tightly knit alley then you deserve your death. because he specializes in armor...wait in your guy's terms- an armor whore, it doesn't make him a stat padder). although ya, i haven't seen him on in the past few days. him and [M] ECR.RC or whatever actually.

EA probably got smart and started looking at the battlerecorders/logs of ranked servers to find these stats padders and cheaters.

as lame as that would be, what would be soooo wrong with sharing an account with some friends? i did just check bfhq and you guys are right...he's gone. i'd like to know why he got his stats wiped. even though i don't know the guy and he rarely ever talked in the server, i'd be pissed if he got wiped because EA listened to a n00b's complaint of Perseverance constantly killing the guy. although, i doubt EA would do something like that.

it would be wrong if those friends are using the same cd key and profile on different computers. but we dont know if that is the case here. anyone know this guy personally? i am interested to know why he got punished.

I wouldn't mind my stats getting wiped. Now that I know how to fly a jet I'd put up some amazing numbers. I now get ~70 kills per round in a jet and usually 2-4 deaths. And the WCR would be obtainable.

I think EA does this right before they release an 'add-on' so the majority buy it thinking EA is getting rid of those 'hated' top 10.

Well I have to agree with most of you......I've played with him and against him many times on the RAW! West coast server.......Karkand only and Ive never had an issue with him..........I take my lumps with the best of em and take em like a man.What worries me is WHY he seems to be wiped off? Reason being it sets a bad precedent if in fact it's because total noobaholics are complaining and whining because of the tactics he uses and as far as I have seen....they have been fair and honest.IN fact when I oppose him it's a real challenge to Tank KIll his ass but it's been done by me and others so no big deal there.
If he's in fact been wiped out then how long is it until we see more get the knife?.....

Anyways I'm new to this board and I just want to say how much of a great job Jeff does to provide us with this service and thank him as we all should do.Keep up the excellent work my man!!!!

What the hell is wrong with bunny hopping?? Someone's shooting at you, you should stand still?? No, you should dodge/evade/duck/roll/whatever the f* it takes.

Personally, I have not been able to get the "bunnyhop" down, but I'll jump around as much as I can to not die. I'm thinking anyone who's been in combat would say the same....

IMO, as long as yer not hacking/shooting through walls...you know, CHEATING, use anything in the game to win. It is a WAR simulation, after all.

Play to win, die trying.

Ken....nothing wrong with bunnyhopping as long as it's not abused and VOLX abuses it so badly he has made it his main move in his repetoire.He turns the game into a joke and i'm sure thats not the way the makers or the users for that matter intended this game to end up as.

otherwise this would be simply be called BATTLEFIFIELD BUNNIES.Next thing youo know the TANKS will be hopping and the APC's and the.....etc etc etc.

You want a game like that?...most of us don't .

And i've never seen a user have more KICK votes called on him as Volx gets.....it's pathetic.Bunnyhopping isn't a skill....it's an abuse of deed.
