Man I must have really gotten out of touch with shit, I haven't checked prices on parts in a while (6 months or so probably)

last time I checked, 3GB of DDR3 RAM would cost you like $400

It really isn't cheaper than DDR2 but for the performance and size its fking win. price came down 50% in last 3 months.

Wow... I haven't looked at any computer part prices lately.. I use to keep track of all the new Graphics cards and Processors etc.. But I just lost interest because I didn't have the money to upgrade my computer anyways..

Now it looks like I could seriously upgrade my computer for probably under $300 bucks.. awesome.
