Is there any way to get media off of my DVR? I have a Thomson-brand that I got through my cable company. I suppose the answer will be no, but if anyone knows - please share.

VCR or a DVDR would be the easiest way. Go from DVR to VCR to TV. Easy Squeezy. Or you could hook it up to your PC like KIMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Sober enough to know what I'm doing, drunk enough to really enjoy doing it
I have my DishNetwork DVR hooked up to a Panasonic DVD/R with Harddrive. Allows me to cut, splice, edit before I burn it to DVD. Also compresses if need be to all fit into a single DVD.
Hmm ... was hoping I wouldn't have to buy more equipment ... thought there might just be like a software trick or something like that ... never mind then ...
