You really shouldn't keep on updating your first post and just have it on separate posts . I'm on what seems like a 10Mb connection these days but even then all that shit isn't worth it for someone who's only half interested in what you're doing but not dedicated enough to download and scroll through all of it
Eh? There's like 5MB of pictures to download at most. That takes a couple of seconds even if you're only on 2Mb. Even if I were to spread it out over many posts, this topic doesn't produce a lot of pages, so the amount of data to download per page wouldn't really change that much.

As for scrolling, come on. Updates are up top. You don't even have to go to any page but page one to get whatever is new.
Alright fine you win

You're damn right I win
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Um, a guide to what?
You do your own stuff- figure it out
The only things required are basic knowledge in electronics and soldering plus some fantasy upon that. There isn't really anything to make a guide about
Ok you're right, everyone is born with "basic knowledge in electronics and soldering". Silly to even recommend anything like that to YOU.

What can I say? Go to school about it, read up on Wikipedia. Just writing a guide on "how to make your own electronics" won't really work. Besides, there's really quite a lot on Google. If anyone getting started has any questions, I'll be glad to help, but that's about as far as I go.

All I'm saying is that there isn't really that much hard facts to learn to get started, but once you're going, it's just an endless field; you can do anything, and there are already guides for everything readily available by the use of Google. If I would make a guide to something, the chance of someone here actually finding it useful is rather slim and there are fifty other ones on the internet already. I'd rather just help out actively if needed, as that can't be found on the internet just like that.
