New Inf server requires your help Bf2s.

Good afternoon, I have recently rented a ranked BF2 server from the friendly guys at Rackage. Its a 32 slot UK based server with a decent map rotation, i already have a couple guys on board from Bf2s but I require more of you to make this a successful community server.

Server address: 193.93.47.119:16569 Server is up and running.

Sii has helped out with the map rotation and will be one of the admins on the server, DU and a couple others expressed an interest when I mentioned getting a server last month.

It will be an Inf only server with a relativley small amount of rules. Basic outline as follows:

Map Rotation, with probably 2 rounds per map with a team switch at the end of each round. 30/40 Minute time limit per map also.

Karkand 16
Sharqui 16
Karkand 32
Jala 16
Karkand 16
Oman 16

That is of course, open to change and adjustment if neccessary.

Rules would be, imo:

No grenade spamming.
No claymores.
No commander.

Again, open to change and adjustment.

It's important to me that the people who populate and help run the server get a sufficient amount of input on the server. My clan and I will also be helping to populate the server as and when we can.

Last but not least, server name:

esbu* / Bf2s UK Community Infantry Only Server Karkand/Oman/Sharqui/Jalalabad

There are many reasons for not having a commander, main one being UAV, it just encourages the nades to rain in imo and all tactics and initiative goes out the window.

Why Sharqui? Why not!

I guess that if you're hoping to enforce a no commander rule a no clay rule isn't that big of a deal.

Otherwise the server sounds great

ok so in a perfect world as baggsy put it (for me at least):
medics only
inf only
no commander
no unlocks

but then the nubs don't get the chance to play with their favorite weapons so lets not be so harsh:
no supporters-no nadespam
no snipers-clays
no specops-no c4
no commander-resupply for spammers not possible

reg is not bad for an UK server just make sure you restart it regularly
