I'm sure this has been asked a million times before, but I'll ask again. I have recently been playing as commander, and I was curious as to why I don't get counted kills toward my score even while I am pounding the hell out of the other team with arty?
Your score as a commander is the average score of all your teammates regardeless of the kills you accumulate etc. If your team wins the score (more precisely the commander points) gets doubled.
However the kills, repair points, etc that you get as a commander will get accredited in your stats properly. So all your artykills will show up as kills in your statistics.
That said, it is another reason for the commander to do what he is ment to be - commanding and thereby supporting his team - and not go running around the map pulling stunts (there's always exceptions to the rule of course).

actually arty kills don't count towards global score unless you are in a vehicle, AA, TOW or Mounted MG at the time. they then count towards those stats.
They don't give you points, but it does up your k/d ratio with that kit and/or vehicle.
And if you make enough kills with arty you will get the kit kill requirements for your needed badge EG basic medic combat badge, you have when you are commanderVeNg3nCe^ wrote:

WRONG. Arty kills are posted toward what ever kit you are playing. You do not get kill points for them as commander, but kills are registered in your stats. So, when I got my expert engineer, I killed over 45 guys with arty and that counted as kills IAR.senor_fulff wrote:
