Why all the complaining about "noob tubers"?  What about this tactic is illegitimate?  You DO realize that real forces use grenade launchers with pretty-much the same results, right?

  If you have a problem with anything, it should be the damage model...if I 40mm someone in relatively close quarters, i'm gonna take damage, right?  Well, in the game, the only thing that means is that your little bar turns red and another hit might kill you, but you can still run, jump, etc to the same level as at full health.  In real life, you're going to be rolling around in pain on the floor, dragging yourself along, or at the very least limping and bleeding badly.

I'm in an MP company, and every rifle in my company has an M203 attached.  We also mount Mark19 FULLY AUTOMATIC grenade launchers on our hummers.

Would I tube someone in real life in close quarters?  Yeah, if I thought I'd get killed otherwise, and perhaps even if I knew I'd die either way because I'm DEFINITELY taking at least one of them with me as I go.  And I'd also shoot one into a room if I didn't have any frags handy.

So stop your whining about "bad" players.  The key to combat is to STAY ALIVE, by WHATEVER MEANS POSSIBLE.

If you noobtoobed somebody in real life, you should realize that all youd do would be to knock them down. In real life there is a time delay fuse on the M203 40mm grenades, i belive its a 15m fuse, as well (min. safe distance, abouts). Ill say this once and again

If you dont think that noobtoobing is an exploit, then keep thinking that when they nerf it with the 1.2 patch. If EA is fixing it, it means that it was broken.

I stand corrected.  I'm used to the practice nades, and gas and sponge grenades which can be used at fairly close range.  I've also fired the H/E rounds, but for obvious reasons, never tested the minimum range.  The H/E arm 15 to 36m out.  This, however, would be great to write into the code.  It would certainly stop all the whining .

yes, yes! lets all cheat too! who cares if aimbots are unrealistic! they are a part of the game too, if you download them! EA *must* have meant for everybody to be able to use them like that! isnt it obvious! jeez, in fact, if your *not* using an aimbot, you must be a noob because everybody else is!

i have *REPEATEDLY* stated that i dont mind being killed by the GL, but when its used from 2 feet away, its taking advantage of a mistake in the coding. its all good though, because once the 1.2 patch im DLing is done, i wont have to deal with noobtoobers.
