Right, so I've succumbed to the pressure, but for a good reason. I joined twitter to promote my bands upcoming gigs, the next one is in Glasgow at a bar called PivoPivo on the 14th May. I want to be able to get as many people seeing this "tweet" as possible to ensure maximum crowdage.

Can anyone help me?

You need a fuckload of people following you.

Er, set-up Twitter's app for your Facebook and post the 'tweet', as it were to Twitter and it will automatically update your Facebook status also. Quick and easy way to potentially refer all of your hundreds of Facebook friends to your Twitter page, as well as telling them the gig info straight-forwardly.
