You might find out soon. A first-in-the-nation law in New Jersey will require new drivers ages 21 and younger to display identifying decals on their vehicles.

Stupid damned thing. I'm 19 I shouldn't have to use those damned decals for shit. I don't drink and drive or drive high I shouldn't have to put decals on my car. If you make under 21s use this shit make over 50 get their own decals. You know fuck it make every age range get it's own decals.

We had a similar thing for under 25s a few years ago, but it was targetting car theft - the idea being that the cars of under 25s are as likely to be stolen as the cars owned by over 25s. Lasted a couple of years and was then killed by a complaint to the human rights commission on the grounds that it would increase theft of cars perceived as being owned by U25s.

I remember parking my car in the far back row of a shopping mall's parking lot...a place, I thought, no one wants to park. Well I was wrong. A teen who had his driver's license for a week decided to park next to my car. With his bumper, he side-swiped my car from bumper to bumper on the driver's side. I could not open the door...forced it open. After meeting him, at first he denied it then showing my car paint on his bumper and his car paint on my car he was really nervous about what was going to happen. I wasn't a prick and able to work it out with his mom....oh I mean insurance company.
