Jenson Button on Pole, Seb Vettel 2nd, Rubens 3rd.  I'll be very interested to see the car weights (havent looked yet hehe).  Massa impressed today (again, without viewing fuel loads), though Kimi was off...did'nt see why, but wow, big difference in the F60's today.

Well, here it is boys, no pomp and circumstance, no copy/paste qualy order, no photo's...but we have a thread.

Go Brawn!

I laughed so hard at Kimi, never really liked him, but its great how Massa is really out-shining him, both this year and last.

Unlucky for Rubens, I was really vouching on him getting Pole after his lap time in Q2.

This season is a goner for McLaren and Ferrari, it's definitely Red Bull and Brawn that are ontop of things and nobody seems to be able to catch them. Lmfao @ Raikkonnen

Anyway here's hoping Vettel can get another win, although I reckon it'll be a Brawn one-two finish. Bloody Richard Branson, and now they have their Terminator:Salvation temp sponsor, this team is pissing me off more by the day

Buttons last qualifying lap was just outstanding. My hat goes off to him, that was a huge thing he pulled off.

This is the only Grand Prix in which only the front row win (1st and second).... Except for the time when Schumacher wont from 3rd position in 1996. Quite a disturbing fact.

Button running lighter than Vettel with very similar pace, but Brawn have expert strategists so I can't see them not converting Button's pole into a win, especially like Zimmer said, on this track, it's pretty much set in concrete that the front row wins the race

eh...
The weights are the car, plus fuel load.  The heavier the car (published weight) the longer they can run at race pace but the slower the lap time they can turn...unless you have one hell of a car that can overcome the added fuel (weight).  All sorts of things contribute to this, such as tire selection (they have 2 compounds and must run each during the race at the teams choice.) as well as set-up etc etc.
Suffice to say, the heavier the car, the longer they can run before pitting.  This is NOT a hard and fast rule, as several other factors can contribute.

Those numbers are in kilo's btw.

Brawn have been doing a fantastic job at strategy, fuel loads havent been affecting them quite so much as some other teams.
Hope this answers your query, I'd be happy to try to explain further if need be...as well as I can anyway

Massa will use KERS off the line, get infront of Vettel and ruin his entire race like Hammiton did last race.

Yeah, when they were saying that yesterday I was shocked...I always thought Monaco was the worst.

Wow, second corner, 4 cars get obliterated. That Toyota span out of control and then ruined it for everyone else, maybe it'll make Catalunya more exciting

This racetrack is such a bore, I've barely been watching the race. Looks like another Button win, the guy surely has the Championship in the bag with this car and his form. Roll on Monaco, the other teams need to do something. This season is fast turning into the boring Schumacher era of F1, I'm not just saying this cos I'm bitter about Brawns dominance, just that I was hoping for a closer season cos it started out promising and the Schumacher era of F1 really was a low point, from a spectator point of view

Button is a fast driver, but he's also incredibly boring to watch. Alonso is probably the least, I hope he does go to Ferrari next season and Ferrari get rid of Raikkonnen, he pisses me off and is a douche, Alonso deserves a team like Ferrari

Seriously impressive race from Button. Alonso did incredibly well as well.

Ferrari fucked up big time.

The whole situation is gonna change in 2/3 of championships. Ferrari is getting stronger, although McLaren still fails. If Brawn GP manages to withstand till half of the championships like that I think Constructors Cup is definitely theirs. Their cars are extremely reliable and fast, not to mention excellent team strategies they are showing.

Only really because the Red Bulls keep getting held up by KERS cars - point proven again today for Vettel behind Massa for the ENTIRE race. For this, Im turning against KERS now...either everybody should have it (so racers have to manage it), or nobody should have it. I was all for it at first, but the way its shaped up the last few races has really been disappointing.

Webbers overtake on Alonso was fucking - I just wish that they had showed it from Webbers POV because it looked bloody close when he swerved over to retake that position. Must have seen Alonso's onboard camera about 15times.

As for the crash, jesus, what a mess! It actually started from Rosberg who, to me, forced Trulli off the track. There was a lot of that today actually

Oh, and @ Massa at the end.

Alonso got the better of him on the straight, but couldn't hold the line and Webber got the better braking line and turn into the corner, yeah that was a good little scrap though

I always notice that with drivers, whenever they overtake someone they always seem to switch off and if the person that was just overtaken tries to win his position back, 9/10 times he can do it because the drivers usually seem to switch off after overtaking someone

Ohh how predictable. It's a shame, Red bull seems to have nearly as good a car as Brawn and probably better drivers, but they keep getting held up and Brawn don't.

Did anyone see what webber said, something along the lines of, massa fucked up vettels race .  He then realised he was on live

Pretty good race, button still doing well which is fantastic, his smooth driving style is working very well with that brawn, none of this shitty boy racer power slides and over rev's.

Lewis is a cheeky cunt though, how deflated will the guys at the factory be feeling after his comments
